Virtual Publics in the Memosphere VPM is a Dartmouth Public Humanities Project AY 2022-2024
The VPM is a four-part project investigating the aesthetics, pragmatics, and politics of contemporary meme culture and its online public spheres - the memosphere - as arenas of explicit negotiation of aesthetic, critical, and civic standards. The project consists of a First Year Seminar at Dartmouth, the Memetics Working Group, and a Conference and Meme Exhibit in Winter 2024.
